Completing these quests awards permanent bonuses. Usually, the secret areas offer a quest chain with three tasks each, requiring resources from varying levels of Mining and Fishing. Once unlocked, you can visit the secret areas indefinitely from the Portal screen. You start with 2 perks in the Infinity Tree, and unlock more as you bring Ice Creams to Dairy Aisle.There are four secrets that are unlocked by performing various feats in the game. Perks in the Infinity Tree have no cap, and can be upgraded forever, with the perk point cost increasing by 1 each upgrade. However, once the Skilltree Overcharge Ascension Perk (+5 max), All Star Rebirth Perk (+5 max), and Tressii Brew Bobby Potion (+35 max, excluding 3 perks) are unlocked, perks may be upgraded up to 50 times (only 15 times for Smithing Multi-Craft, Poison Attack, and Botany Overgrowth Time Redux). Initially, each individual perk can be upgraded up to 5 times. There are no restrictions to which branch perk points may be allocated to, therefore it's possible to fill up all six trees simultaneously, although it requires 2601 points to do so. Once earned, these perk points may be spent in any of the first three branches and later on in the last four branches once they're unlocked permanently after clearing Grasslands, Desert, Mountains, and Purgatory. Players gain perk points by leveling up their skills in the game. The Perk Tree features unlocks and upgrades for many of the features of Idle Skilling.
